$255.00 - Late and on-site registration (received after midnight (EST) December 1, 2018)

All online and onsite registrations require a credit or debit card for payment. No cash or personal checks will be accepted.

Refund policy: 1/2 of the registration fee ($ 102.50) will be refunded after the pre- registration deadline and no refund will be given after the start date of the school.

If you have any difficulties with the online registration process, please contact the School Director.

Any student requesting ADA accommodations must make that request at the time of completing the application/registration, and support the request with the appropriate documentation sent to the Director of Coaching, terry.crawford@usatf.org. Said application/registration must be completed no later than six (6) weeks prior to the school opening in order to ensure the availability of any such reasonable accommodations or other required assistance during the Level 1 coaching school.

Instructors

Larry Judge, Ph.D., Throws, Sciences Instructor: Larry is a professor of Kinesiology and coordinator of the graduate coaching program at Ball State University. He has 18 years of Division I coaching experience with Indiana State University, the University of South Carolina, the University of Wyoming and the University of Florida. He is currently the USA Track & Field national chairman for coaching education. He is the Indiana State Director for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is also a Level 3 instructor in the International Association of Athletics Federation's (IAAF) coaching education program. He has coached more than 100 NCAA Division I All Americans, including nine Olympians. He has served as an assistant coach for the United States for the 2012 and 2016 Paralympic Games and helped tutor Gold Medalists Jeremy Campbell and David Blair in the F44 discus throw.

Asha Gibson, Sprints/Hurdles/Relays, Endurance Instructor: Asha Gibson enters her fourth year serving as the sprints and hurdles coach for the Tennessee State track and field team in 2017-18. A native of Birmingham, Ala., Gibson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Jacksonville State University in Health Education and received her Master’s degree in Physical Education w/ emphasis in Human Performance. She has earned USATF Level 2 certifications in Sprints, Hurdles, Relays and Jumps. Gibson is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has participated in the USOC/USATF Emerging Elite Coaches Camp at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA.

Shawn Venable, Jumps, Sciences Instructor: Jumps and Hurdles Coach at Liberty University. Prior to starting at Liberty University. Coach Vinny was in charge of the field events and assisted head coach Joe Dial with the sprints and hurdles events at Oral Roberts University. He has coached several All-Americans and conference champions in the sprints and jumps events. Venable has earned three USATF Level 3 and IAAF Level V Coaching Education certifications (the highest attainable); the jumping events (2013), the sprints/hurdles events (2014), and the combined events (2015).
