Now in its 12th year, the Bonfield Express 5K is a Downers Grove tradition. Held each Thanksgiving morning, the race treks through the downtown and scenic side streets of the western suburb. It attracts a wide range of participants from competitive runners to those who run or walk the course to share time with friends and loved ones. Funds generated provide scholarships to area high school seniors
