A chip timed (USATF IL-14067-JW certified course) 5K race ran through the beautiful streets of River Grove. A fast, flat course with minimal turns. $ 30.00 entry fee ($20.00 for children 12 and under) with a goodie bag, tech T-shirt and one free raffle ticket for the raffle after the race (extra tickets for the raffle can be purchased). An indoor post race party with music, food (pizza, hot dogs, bagels, bananas, water, sports drinks and coffee) afterwards with awards for overall male and female winners, awards for the male and female winner in the masters over 40 group and medals for the top 3 in each male and female age group. The River Grove Police FOP Lodge #59 is a non for profit organization which gives all the money raised back to the communities through schools, PTA's, Little Leagues and other charitable organizations. St, Eugene School, St. Cyprian, Triton college, MS society, Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, River Grove Lions club, Epilepsy Foundation to name a few. This year’s race will also be raising money to help the Shriners Hospital Special Bikes for Special Kids Program, Lets raise enough to buy a special kid a Special built bike to fit his or her needs. Fullerton Av. in River Grove, IL. 60171. REGISTRATION ONLINE WILL CLOSE AT MIDNIGHT ON 6/7/17.RACE DAY REGISTRATION WILL BE FROM 6:30AM -7:30 AM. CASH ONLY
