Athletes start with a 1.2-mi swim in Jordan Lake in Chatham County. The 56-mi bike course will take athletes through rural Chatham & Wake Counties before entering downtown Raleigh to transition to the run. The two-loop, 13.1-mi run course winds through downtown, around the Capital Building, out Hillsborough St., & through NC State University before heading down Fayette St. to finish in City Plaza.
