This Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes invites over 1,500 participants to walk through the charming neighborhoods of Lake County and enjoy a pre- and post-walk fall festival at Didier Farms, with activities for the whole family. The Walk features one rest stop, delicious food options, live entertainment and volunteers to cheer walkers on along the way. Each mile covered and dollar raised supports the American Diabetes Association’s vision: a life free of diabetes and all its burdens. Our Step Out Walk serves as a signature event year after year, fostering tradition and hope to all who attend.
