The Moraine Valley Health, Fitness & Recreation Center's Halloween 5K/1K run/walk is back for its fifth year. The 5K starts at 9 a.m. while a 1K race for children begins at 10 a.m. Costumes are encouraged. Strollers are allowed on the course.
In addition to the race is a Little Pumpkin's Patch free activity area for children.
