The 5K is a timed event on gravel trails through woods and prairies. There will also be a 1 mile 6 Legged Fun Run / Walk with your your 4 legged friend as well as a virtual 5K. All proceeds from the race benefit Save-A-Pet - a true no kill animal rescue, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and one of the largest no-kill cat and dog rescues in Lake County that operates a full-time adoption center.
