The I&M Canal Trail Relay is a one day, 65 mile running relay utilizing the scenic and historic Illinois & Michigan Canal Trail. The race starts 45 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, near Joliet. Teams can be comprised of five people running three legs each or seven people running two legs each. Runners will see historic locks and dams and scenic vistas of five rivers, bluffs, woods, & wetlands
