Half-Marathon, Marathon and 50-mile trail races on flat, fast crushed limestone trail. The fall scenery is spectacular. In 2017 the DPRT Races was listed as the #2 marathon in Illinois. Trail Runner Magazine (June, 2017) lists the Des Plaines River Trail as one of the top trails in the Chicago area. Marathon is a Boston Qualifier.
