MyRacePal allows you to personalize your race calendar and keep track of all the events you are registered for and are interested in. Additionally, you can share that information with your “pals”, and see what events they are registered for and interested in. Plus, you can join your local area running/training clubs and see what races your teammates are going to or are interested in. In this way, you can better plan your event and training schedule for the year.I’m a race director and want to add an event. How do I do that?
When you log in to the site, you need to log in as a race director so make sure to click the race director box when registering. You can also edit your profile in your personal calendar section. Once you have logged in, there should be a blue “Race Directors” button in the top right hand corner navigation area. Click on that, and it should take you to a page where you can click on the “Add New Event” button. Follow the prompts from there and input your information for the event.I submitted my event, but it is not showing up on MyRacePal. Why is that?
The event appears in our pending queue and will be approved and available to view on the main calendar within 1-3 business days.What happened to the old calendar?
We have all 2014 data carried over when the calendar moved from Chicago Athlete’s old online calendar to MyRacePal. If you are a race director, you can click “Race Directors”, and you should see all the events submitted using that email in 2014. From here, you should be able to easily update the information for 2015 without having to resubmit every single event.Why are races from all over the country showing up even when I narrow my search?
In addition to the results you were looking for, destination races show up in searches as well.What are private events?
These events are events you add to your own personal race calendar that are only seen by you. They will not show up on the main race calendar. It is important for race directors to make sure events are not added through the “Add Private Event” feature on the personal race calendar, but rather through the “Add New Event” feature under the blue “Race Directors” button.How do I request other events are included in your calendar?
We try to include as many events as possible in our calendar, but we are reliant on race directors providing information.
